Surgery facilities

We have a sterile theatre at both our Gosport and Stubbington branches. This is where we do our other major, often life-saving surgery, such as removing foreign bodies from dog’s intestines (stones, toys, tights, corn on the cob, socks and dental floss to name but a few), removing stones from bladders (cystotomy) and suturing wounds.

We have a large prep room area for non-sterile procedures such as cleaning ears, flushing anal glands, removing grass seeds and, of course, preparing animals for surgery.
